The TV Show, Sha Na Na, aired for five years, from 1977 to 1981. It was known for its presentation of the group performing awesome renditions of hits from the 50's and 60's.

Along with the great music there were comedy skits, also performed by the Sha Na Na group members, as well as other classic acts from the 50's and 60's, and current popular acts from the 70's.

Jon "Bowzer" Bauman would close out each show by saying...

"Good night, and grease for peace!"

with Sha Na Na singing...

"Goodnight, Sweetheart, Goodnight."
